Pilimon Connect Community Guidelines
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Pilimon Connect is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun).
The short version
- Be real: your own photos, your real first name, your real age. You must be 18 or older.
- Be kind: no harassment, no pressure, no hate.
- Keep it clean: no nudity or sexual content in photos or messages.
- Respect privacy: never out anyone or share their chats, photos, or details.
- Meet in public, and report anything that feels wrong.
- Breaking these rules can get you warned, suspended, or banned. Some things mean an instant, permanent ban.
You agree to these guidelines when you sign up (the pledge step). They are part of the Terms of Service.
1. Be real
- 18 or older only. Your birthdate must be true. Giving a false age is grounds for a permanent ban.
- Your real first name. No fake names, nicknames meant to deceive, or names of other people.
- Your own photos. Upload 2 to 6 photos of yourself. Your first photo must clearly show your face. No photos of celebrities, friends, strangers, or AI-generated faces passed off as you.
- One person, one account. Do not share an account or make one for someone else.
- No pretending. Do not pretend to be another student, a school official, or PLMun itself. Pilimon Connect is not a school service, so do not claim it is.
- "PLMun email confirmed" only means you could open a
@plmun.edu.phmailbox. Do not tell people you are "verified".
2. Consent comes first
- Consent must be clear, freely given, and can be taken back at any time. "No", silence, or no reply means no.
- A match is not consent to anything. A date plan is not consent to anything.
- Do not pressure anyone to chat, meet, send photos, or go somewhere private.
- If someone unmatches or blocks you, let it go. Do not contact them through other accounts or other apps.
3. No harassment
Not allowed:
- Sexual comments, jokes, or advances the other person did not welcome. Gender-based online sexual harassment is also against the law under Republic Act No. 11313 (Safe Spaces Act).
- Threats, insults, bullying, stalking, or repeated unwanted messages.
- Hate or slurs based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, disability, or any other part of who someone is.
- Asking for money, gifts, load, or account passwords.
4. No explicit content
- No nudity, sexual acts, or sexually explicit images in photos or messages.
- Do not send sexual photos or videos to anyone, even if asked. Never forward, screenshot, or share anyone's intimate images.
- Photos are screened automatically before they go live. Explicit photos are rejected. Photos the system is unsure about are held "In review" until a moderator decides.
5. Zero tolerance for minors and child abuse material
- Anyone under 18 is not allowed on Pilimon Connect.
- Any sexual content involving a minor, or any attempt to sexually exploit a minor, leads to an immediate permanent ban. We preserve the evidence and report it to the authorities under Republic Act No. 11930 (Anti-OSAEC and Anti-CSAEM Act).
- If you see something like this, do not download, screenshot, or share it. Report it in the app right away.
6. Respect privacy
- Never out anyone. Do not tell others that someone uses Pilimon Connect, or reveal their gender, orientation, or who they are interested in.
- Do not share screenshots of someone's profile or your chats with them outside Pilimon Connect.
- Do not post or share anyone's personal details: full name, student number, address, phone number, schedule, or social media accounts.
- Respect privacy mode and "Show my gender" choices. Do not try to work around them.
7. Keep it personal, not commercial
- No selling, advertising, promoting businesses or paid services, recruiting, or links to other platforms for money.
- No scams, investment pitches, crypto offers, or loan requests.
- No spam, bots, scripts, or automation.
8. Meet in public
- Use the date plan to agree on a time and a public place. Suggested spots are all public places.
- Tell a friend your plan. "Share my date plan" sends your match's first name, the place, and the time to someone you choose.
- In an emergency, call 911.
- Read the Safety Tips before you meet anyone.
9. Reporting
You can report from a profile card or from a chat. Reasons include "Under 18" and "Fake profile / not who they say".
- From a profile card: no messages are attached.
- From a chat: a copy of the last 50 messages of that conversation is attached so a moderator can review it. You will see which messages are shared before you send.
- Report after a date: available for 90 days after the date, even if you already unmatched or blocked the person.
- Block at any time. Blocking hides you both from each other everywhere, right away.
- What the reported person is told: nothing about the report. They are not told that a report was made or who made it. They only find out if a moderator takes action on their account, such as a suspension.
- False or abusive reports are themselves a violation.
What happens to an "Under 18" report: the reported profile is hidden from discovery right away while a moderator reviews it. The moderator may ban the account or ask the person for proof of age. Only the operator handles proof of age, by email. The person shows a government ID or school record with only their name, photo, and birthdate visible. We keep only the result and the date, and delete the image and the email within 7 days of the decision. If there is no reply within 30 days, the account is banned.
10. Enforcement
Moderators review reports and held photos. For each action, they record a reason.
| Action | What it means | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Warning | A notice about what you did wrong. Your account stays active | A first, minor problem: a rude message, spammy bio, or an unsuitable (not explicit) photo |
| Suspension | Your account is temporarily blocked. Length: usually 7 days the first time and 30 days the second time | A problem repeated after a warning, or a more serious one: harassment, hate, scams, fake profiles, pressuring someone for photos, or sharing someone's details |
| Ban | Your account is permanently closed. A hashed copy of your campus email is kept so you cannot sign up again | Repeated or serious violations |
Immediate permanent ban, no warning first:
- Giving a false age, or being under 18.
- Any child sexual abuse or exploitation material, or attempting to exploit a minor (also reported to authorities).
- Threats of violence, or sexual violence against another user.
- Sharing or threatening to share intimate images without consent, including sextortion.
- Selling sex, human trafficking, or recruiting for either.
- Streaming or live-streaming the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child (also reported to authorities).
Moderators may also remove a photo or profile content without other action. If the law requires it, we may share information with the authorities.
Appeals: if you think a decision was wrong, email [email protected] from your campus email within 30 days of the decision. Tell us what happened. A person reviews it, if possible someone other than the person who decided, and we reply within 14 days. A suspension or ban stays in place while we review it.
